Cape Bruny Lighthouse
Located at the southern tip of Bruny Island, the Cape Bruny Lighthouse is the second-oldest standing lighthouse in Australia. It was originally built from lical stone and was first lit in 1838. It was decommissioned in 1996, replaced by a solar-powered tower. The light station is open for inspection daily 9.30am to 4.30pm in summer and 9.30am to 4.00pm in winter.

Get Shucked is locally owned and operated by young entrepreneur Joe Bennett with the support of his partner Nicole at Great Bay on Bruny Island. The leases are situated right in the centre of Great Bay, allowing them to receive some of the first currents entering the bay providing a rich amount of nutrients for the oysters to feed on.
